Upcoming Victoria Tournament - October 2-3, 2010

Our next tournament has been officially scheduled for October 2nd and 3rd, 2010. There will be one open Collins (SOWPODS) division and one open TWL division - i.e. players of any rating can play in either division. Performance prizes will be awarded in each division in addition to place prizes.

    Parking

    Parking is available on the surrounding streets. The time restrictions on Michigan, Parry, Toronto, and other streets do not apply at the weekend. However, Menzies between Michigan and Toronto (i.e., outside the venue) is limited to 90 minutes on Saturdays. Alternatively, the parking lot on the east side of Menzies between Michigan and Superior is available for a charge on weekends. There are entrances on Michigan and Superior, the latter allowing credit cards.

  • Car ferry from Port Angeles - Victoria (The Coho)
  • Passenger ferry from Seattle - Victoria (The Clipper)
  • Car & Passenger ferry from Tsawwassen to Schwartz Bay (i.e., Vancouver - Vancouver Island)

  • Municipal Bus Routes
  • The tournament venue is within 1km of the Coho and Clipper terminals. However, Victoria aiport and the Swartz Bay terminal are 28km and 33km north of Victoria.
